As we have already reported, using a dishwasher to clean your dishes is more eco-friendly than washing by hand. But so many Enagic®members don’t enjoy using synthetic chemicals to get their favorite dishes and flatware clean.
Thankfully, you can don’t have to resort to harsh, unnatural ingredients to get your dishes sparkling clean. Using some basic items in your pantry, you can make your own Homemade Dishwasher Detergent:
Homemade Dishwasher Detergent
1 cup washing soda
1 cup Borax (ONLY if you have well water)
2 Tablespoons sea salt
Thoroughly mix together and keep in an air-tight container. Add 1 to 2 Tablespoon of the mixture to each load. If your dishes are cloudy, add a little vinegar or a small drop of Strong Kangen Water Dish Soap to the rinse cycle to reduce cloudiness.
…Or wash with Strong Kangen Water
If you don’t own an Energy Star dishwasher, or just prefer to wash your dishes the old fashioned way, Strong Kangen Water can help! Strong Kangen Water is a powerful cleaner, with extra strength absorption qualities to help fight tough grease and grime from your dishes.
Strong Kangen Water can help you save on your water bill. It takes a quarter of the usual amount of water to rinse off Strong Kangen Water, as opposed to chemical detergents. This is a wonderful environmentally-friendly and healthy decision, as both the Earth and your body will thank you for reducing the amount of chemicals in your home!
Keep your dishes clean the green way, and let your mulit-purpose Enagic® water ionizing machine help make your home chemical-free!
